Montgomery County remains the most active county in our service area. Overall sales increased in 2020 by 81 homes over 2019. The most dramatic number for a drop of inventory also is shown with 2,803 homes for sale in 2019 Q1 and 1,538 homes for sale in 2020 Q1; a decrease of 45%. Average sale price is $354,319.
Chester County shows an increase in sales for 2020 Q1 to 1,330 units over 2019 Q1 of 1,246. Inventory of available homes for sale has dropped 756 units for Q1. Average sale price is $391,207.
Berks County saw an increase in 2020 home sales for Q1 as compared to 2019. For the same quarter homes sales rose by 47 homes. The drastic change came from available homes for sale. 2019 Q1 had 1,196 homes for sale as compared to 2020 at 728. Average sale price reflected was $192,480.
Bucks County continues to be strong with 2020 Q1 seeing a 6% increase in homes sold over 2019. Inventory is still a concern with a drop in homes for sale from 2019 to 2020 Q1 of 950 homes, a 48% decrease. Average sale price is $372,384.
